The new craze has arrived!

KOI Bubble Tea

We finally decided to pop by the Koi Bubble Tea AMK branch at Blk 704
to try the legendary bubble tea.
I am surprised by the queue!

When was the last time we see long queue for bubble tea?

I think the boss hired Taiwanese youngsters to manage their stores or at least for the AMK branch.

All the employees speak like Taiwanese.

But unlike those Taiwanese in Taiwan who are genuinely friendly and sweet, those managing the AMK branch seems otherwise.

Music was blasting very loudly in the background such that it was hard to listen to what the counter staffs are telling you.

Also, the staffs seem so engrossed in singing along with the music that their service quality wasnt there.

So UNTYPICAL of a taiwanese.

We ordered Milk Tea and Koi Cafe (milk coffee in disguise).

Verdict: Try something else apart from Koi Cafe next time. It just taste like very nice rich coffee.

For the Milk Tea, the tea was smoothing and not forgetting about the very chewy pearls.

But is it really worth the 20 mins queue?

Hmm...

[Eat] Yummy Yami Yogurt

Remembered there was a yumi yogurt outlet just at my old hse estate.

Mummy used to buy the cone version for korkor and I always refused to eat it.

But this was now a thing of the past.
It's now my latest craze.
I think they are back.

It's my favorite popping candy when I was a kid.

Comes in 2 different flavors each pack.
My choice strawberry and cola!

Mummy called today after lunch.
She broke a sad news.
Granduncle has passed away.
It was so sudden.

Hearing the news of his demise bought back sad memories.
Just 1.5yr ago, grandma left us.

This news coincide with the demise of Dr Yeo as well.

Life is fragile isnt it?

11km hiking day!

Eventful day spent hiking at McRitchie!
We spent 2hrs and 15mins to complete the 11km track! That's taking into account time spent enjoying and relaxing in the comfort of mother nature!

We took some pics and pull a naughty stint. Posted onto facebook and proclaim that we are in Terengganu. Hui actually fell for it. Feel so bad!

It was a nice trip!
